The XStreamer is a reliable content contribution, turnaround and distribution system for satellite, cable, terrestrial and telco operators over IP and ASI infrastructure.

The XStreamer System is fully compliant with the MPEG-2/4 and DVB standards, providing a fully interoperable decoder for digital media networks. It provides decoding of four independent program services provided by 9 separate transport stream inputs (4 x QPSK, 4 DVB/ASI and IP). All the selected programs may be presented either on four different monitors or on a single monitor in a PIP/QUAD (mosaic) view.

The XStreamer DVB System provides two modes of synchronization, using either: internal VCXO clock or external Genlock.

QUAD/PIP (Picture in Picture) Monitoring:

• "2" color TFT confidence monitor with full-motion decoded picture. This unique feature removes the need for an external splitter.
• Two monitoring options:

              -  4 channels on the front panel TFT

              -  Split screen on an external monitor.

Real Time Monitoring & Controlling:

The XStreamer setup and control is simple and flexible. The system is user friendly and the IRD may be operated either from a push button front panel or via IP remote NMS with ADI proprietary GUI, or an SNMP agent. In addition, the Xstreamer has a RS-232 port for technician tests and diagnostics.
