The IP-NET® VISION DPIX is a custom built appliance designed to facilitate Digital Program Insertion (DPI). DPIX works in conjunction with Digital Splicers and Legacy Ad Insertion Systems. Since many networks do not currently transmit SCTE-35 Compliant Cue Messaging Required for DPI, DPIX provides multiple means of detecting Ad Cues and converting such cues to SCTE-35 and SCTE-30 compliant messages.

By allowing DPI on networks without SCTE-35 cue messaging and legacy Ad Insertion Systems DPIX allows Ad Splicing within the digital domain saving the need for costly and complex analog ad insertion and re-encoding. DPIX can interface with IP-NET MMX or other systems via SOAP APIs.
