MagicQ-A Combiner
The state-of-the-art 1000 MHz MagicQ-A Combiner is IP-NET’s proprietary high performance active splitting/combining solution offering 64 cable inputs, frequency multiplexed at each of 8 or 16 outputs. Intended for direct laser modulation, any headend utilizing fiber optic transmitters, multiple coax outputs, or many other broadband outputs will benefit from the compact stack & tier packaging and low loss characteristics of the MQC1000A64X8FG000 and MQC1000A64X16FF000.
Applications:
The MQC01000A64X8FF000 and the MQC0100064X16FF000 allow all of the broadcast cable signals in CATV headends to be combined and simultaneously split into many outputs, thereby reducing the number of connections and possible points of failure, while minimizing the losses normally associated with a passive combining and splitting approach.
The extremely low loss of the MQC1000A64X8FF000 and the MQC1000A64X16FF000 allow all of the channels to be combined and fed to the lasers without the need for additional, and detrimental, headend amplification between the modulators and the lasers.
